New Priority Ruling

Now I can see another reason why Book of Moon was limited.

It would be so much better than it already is. Preventing all ignition effects easily.

Anyway, great move by Konami for limiting it. Makes it much easier for new combos to work.

Forbidden:
Goyo Guardian
Really unexpected, however, it is overpowered with 2800ATK at Level 6. Curbs BF even more by disallowing them to turn games around with just a Blizzard into Goyo. Well, at least now no one will compare the new exceed monsters to this card.

Cold Wave
Expected move by Konami. No spell/trap cards for 3 turns at most really hurts lots of decks.

Mass Driver
Probably a pre-emptive strike against any FTKs in the future. I’m predicting something like that to come out of the new Psychic monsters in the future.

Limited:
Honest
Now we only need to worry about one of him during each game. Nerfs Light Hero Beat and Angels.

Dandylion
This is where it should have been all along. This should cause plant players to play their Dandylions conservatively, similar to GB players and their Bestiaris.

BF-Kalut
Weakens BF to a high extent, rendering Shura pretty weak, especially with BOM at 1.

Book of Moon
Pretty good move by Konami, encourages more players to play Synchro and Exceed summon based decks. Trap Stun should also see more play now, since the main reason players avoid playing Trap Stun is because of Book of Moon.

Gateway of The Six
Expected it to be banned with Smoke Signal at 1. Looks like Six Sams will still be playable after March especially with the new cards like Dojo and Hermit.

Semi-Limited:
Card Trooper
Weird move, probably to boost graveyard based deck more.

Archlord Kristia
Nerfs Angels a little along with the limitation of Honest.

Spirit Reaper
Another weird move, although its interesting in decks like Frog Monarchs and Twilight. Might be useful in the future along with Exceed summons.

Debris Dragon
Expected it to go to 1, but at 2, there should be less random topdecks into Black Roses. Expecting it to still stand strong alongside Exceed summons.

Royal Tribute
Didn’t expect Konami to do this for the OCG list. It shouldn’t have much difference in the TCG, but at least it is better than nothing. This should confirm that the OCG and TCG lists should be exactly the same.

Overload Fusion
With Cyber Dragon at 3, this could show some potential.

Megamorph
Seeing a trend of equip cards being unlimited, like United we Stand in the last list.

Solemn Warning
Probably wouldn’t make much of a difference, but it should help since Heavy Storm didn’t get released.

Icarus Attack
Just to hurt BFs somemore, maybe a little of Dragunities.

Unlimited:
Chaos Sorceror
I’m predicting some Chaos or Twilight deck will take the meta at some point of time.

Demise, King of Armageddon
More incentive to play Ritual monsters?

Snipe Hunter
Hardly used at all, might see some play in Fabled decks. Although not being a Fabled monster wouldn’t make it that great in there.

Dewloren
With Substitoad gone, it should be really hard to summon 3 of these anyway.

Gold Sarcophagus
More ways to get to your key cards?

Skill Drain
Not really that great if people continue to play MST post March.

Ultimate Offering
Same as Drain, although I can see potential for this card in many decks. Exceed Gadgets FTW?

Thats all for today. I will probably be posting what decks I feel will be strong after March in the next few days.

Reasons for keeping your cards in the same rarity and language

With cards like Pot of Dualityaround, I would like to suggest all of you to play cards with the same rarity and language.
For example, you are playing Blackwings and you have a Super Rare Icarus Attack in your hand. You use Pot of Duality, revealing a Common Icarus Attack and two other cards. You add the Common Icarus Attack to your hand.
You set Vayu along with both Icarus Attacks.
Your opponent uses MST on your Super Rare Icarus Attack. Now he knows that most likely your other face-down card is the Common Icarus Attack.
This will cause him to play around it, and thus causing a disadvantage to you.
Another example would be with Kalut. If you already have a Common Kalut in your hand and used Pot to get another Rare copy, then your opponent direct attacks you with Spirit Reaper, discarding your Common Kalut. This means he knows that you still have another Rare Kalut in your hand.
If both your Kaluts were Rare, he would be able to know that you had two Kaluts.
There are also many other cards that can allow your opponent to take advantage of the different rarities and language. So, try to keep all your copies of the same card the same.

Flamvell Urquizas

Might see more play in Six Samurais now due to the increase in play of cards like Spirit Reaper and Kinetic Soldier.

Sometimes you don’t have the hand cards to go use Brionac’s effect to get through those cards.

Also works extremely well against Angels if they try to spam Mystic Shine Balls for defence. Or maybe if they side in Gellenduo against you.
